Title: Disappointing Stay – Unpleasant Odors
I was disappointed by my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Chico. Although the hotel appeared clean, the hallway and room had strange, unpleasant odors, and the bed linens—especially the sheets—smelled particularly bad. The odors made me uncomfortable and significantly detracted from the stay, raising concerns about the freshness of the accommodations. I expected better from a Hilton property and would not stay here again.

Pool is great, breakfast is good if its free. I wouldn’t pay the 18.95 per person for the breakfast buffet its no more than your free breakfast at holiday inn.
Service was awesome, rooms ok minus the shower having hair in it and the ice bucket has something white and sticky so we couldn’t use it. Cleanliness could be more, but its good for 2 days. The set up is great and the location to the ballfield was only 8 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chico! The pool and hot tub were a lot of fun, and the full-service restaurant and bar made it easy to relax without leaving the hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
The highlight of our stay was Kenny at the bar. He was friendly, funny, personable, and genuinely cared about every guest he interacted with. He checked on us throughout dinner and drinks, made us feel welcome, and greeted everyone who came through the door with a smile. It was clear that he wanted every guest to have a great experience.
Exceptional customer service like Kenny’s is incredibly rare these days, even in hospitality. His positive attitude and genuine appreciation for guests left a lasting impression on both my friend and me.
Bravo, Kenny! DoubleTree is lucky to have you. We can’t wait to come back!

It was a good location. Room service was great. We were there for my nephew‘s graduation from PV high school. The only thing I can say is the hot tub was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Outside of that we had a good time.

Amazing, has a restaurant, bar, the rooms are clean, personalized service, fitness centre, a lounge. Very professional service overall. I arrived after a 6 hour drive from Bakersfield and had dinner, chicken Alfredo and the food was delicious, exactly what I needed after a long business trip and eating fast food. I had the chicken already with chicken as protein and it came with garlic bread. Recommended
