I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The room itself is dated but fairly clean. However there’s no soundproofing whatsoever, so you can hear everything from the upstairs guests dropping things and walking around, to conversations and traffic noise from people just outside. You even smell cigarette and weed smoke from inside your room. The WiFi is terrible and when I asked about a business center to use a computer, it was simply a table just off the front desk with a desk top that didn’t even turn on. The fridge in the room froze all of my drinks I put in, causing them to pop. And it remained uncleaned during my entire stay there- meaning housekeeping doesn’t even bother to check each time. The area is pretty central and there are several restaurants and stores within walking distance.

The Days Inn on S. Abbott St. was a major disappointment. The biggest issue was the customer service at the front desk. The man working the front counter was extremely unhelpful and did not come across as welcoming at all. He seemed like he really didn’t want to get up from his seat or assist with anything, and when I asked questions, I received very short answers that felt like he was just trying to get me away from the desk.
The hotel itself was okay, but honestly, better customer service would have made a big difference. At least I could have walked away saying, “The place wasn’t great, but the staff was nice.” Unfortunately, I can’t even say that because of my experience at the front desk.
Now, every time I drive past this hotel, that interaction is going to be the first thing I think about. Customer service matters, and the experience I had at the front desk definitely left a bad impression.

Property asked a credit card when paying direct bill. So that’s suspicious. Speaking to the property prior to my group check-in they did not mention they don’t follow company policy. Another red flag. Written communication was also ignored. Imagine turning down $1067.02 because you don’t follow policy. Lets me know my credit card (that wasn’t needed) was more lucrative.
Would not doubt if the 5 star reviews are family and owners.

I had a wonderful stay at Days Inn by Wyndham San Jose Airport in Milpitas. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to Interstates 880 and 237, making it convenient to explore the San Jose area and nearby attractions. It’s also just a short drive from Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, which made my trip stress-free.
The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, providing everything I needed during my stay. The free WiFi worked well throughout the property, and the complimentary parking was a great added benefit.
I especially appreciated the free daily breakfast, which was a convenient way to start each morning. The seasonal outdoor pool was clean and inviting, and the business center and meeting facilities make this hotel an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers.
For the price, the value is exceptional. This hotel offers comfortable accommodations, useful amenities, and a convenient location near California Great America and other local attractions. I highly recommend Days Inn by Wyndham San Jose Airport to anyone visiting the Milpitas or San Jose area and would gladly stay here again.

Stayed here for a week during a work trip to a tech campus in Milpitas and it was exactly what I needed — clean, convenient, and genuinely comfortable for the Bay Area price.
The front desk team (especially Maria at check-in) was super friendly and efficient. She got me sorted quickly even though I arrived a bit late, answered all my questions about local spots, and even recommended a solid breakfast burrito place nearby. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room fresh every day — linens were crisp, bathroom spotless, and they even refreshed the coffee supplies without me asking.
My room was quiet and well-kept. The bed was surprisingly comfortable with good pillows, and I slept solidly every night. AC worked perfectly, hot water was reliable with strong shower pressure, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for video calls and streaming. The fridge, microwave, and coffee maker came in very handy for late nights and early mornings.
Breakfast was a nice bonus — nothing fancy, but the waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, and strong coffee hit the spot. It was well-stocked and easy to grab something quick before heading out.
Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. Super easy on/off I-880, close to work, Great Mall, plenty of restaurants, and just a short drive to SJC airport or even Levi’s Stadium. Free parking right outside my room was a lifesaver with all my gear — well-lit and felt safe at all hours.
For the value, this place delivered way more than I expected. Clean, comfortable, and convenient without the crazy Bay Area hotel prices. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone working in the area, on a short family trip, or just passing through. Great find!
