Owner is quite hostile and confrontational. Should you raise any concerns, be prepared to be met with scorn and accusations. Do NOT stay here if you value your peace.

We loved our stay at Whale Watch Inn!

Having a room with a kitchen was really helpful and it was fully stocked with cutlery, dishes, and cooking wear. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. The bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub which was incredible. Our room was comfortable and clean with a great fireplace. Everything has a retro style and is well maintained. The room had many windows so we got to wake up with the sunrise which was lovely!

This hotel has a private beach access with steep steps down to the coast. Being able to walk to the water was so special and is a good spot to view tide pools when the tide is low (be careful on slippery rocks and DONT TOUCH THE WILDLIFE!).

The hotel also has a lovely community room with another coffeemaker, games, and most importantly, a fantastic view of the ocean. This is a good spot to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and watch the sunrise- even if it is very cloudy.

This hotel overall is very comfortable, quiet, and the perfect spot for relaxing. The WiFi is a bit spotty at least in our room but that wasn’t a bother as we didn’t need it too often. Miren who runs everything is incredible and very kind. She is super and has local recommendations for restaurants, hikes, etc.

If you have questions, send an email about availability because this peaceful hotel is a must visit for a relaxing vacation.

We had a relaxing two days at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owner, Miren made sure all our needs were met the whole time we were here. She is an amazing person and a wonderful cook. We had a fresh gourmet breakfast delivered to our room both mornings. Hot tub and fireplace in the room was a nice touch that added to our relaxing and romantic stay. The views from everywhere on the property were spectacular. We loved the large whale watching room which has a large fireplace in the middle of the room, windows with a 180° view of the ocean, seating for at least 20 people and as an added bonus, a nice reclining massage chair where I spent hours relaxing on. Overall, I would highly recommend the Whale Watch Inn and we will definitely be back. Tip: book directly through hotel to take advantage of the wonderful gourmet breakfasts.

We had a relaxing peaceful stay at the Whale Watch Inn! The room we stayed in was the Heart Song Suite. The room has a back deck that included a hot tub. We stayed toward the end of September for our anniversary. The nights were cool enough to light the fireplace inside the room and the wood was provided each day outside our front door. The room also came with a full breakfast that we really enjoyed, it was so good! We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the back deck where we could hear the waves crashing in to the shore and at night we looked up at the sky full of stars while relaxing in the hot tub. It was pretty awesome! The host Marin was very accommodating and so nice to talk to. She showed us around the grounds and the community room which has a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and any extras you might need for your stay like coffee and cream, wine glasses and opener, and many many other things that you might need. The area is pretty private and a little drive to restaurants or a beach nearby.
