The atmosphere was nice. The food is why this is a 4 and not a 3. The food was really nice. It did come out luke warm and quickly was cold. The prices were different on the menu from the bill. It was slower service than it should be too. Food was great. I’m a details person. I don’t give reviews much.
I came across this cute restaurant and tried the Chèvre tomato grilled sandwich and let me say it was absolutely AMAZING.11/10 so so delicious. And the chips, sooo yummy. The flavor exceeded my expectations and the patio vibe was very relaxed and laid back. Can’t wait to try their grain bowls and soup options too. Will definitely be returning with friends and family!
I’ve heard so many good things about this new café, so I stopped in today with a few girlfriends to check it out — and I’m so glad we did!
The interior is cozy, but thoughtfully arranged with enough tables to accommodate quite a few guests, especially with the large community table. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kevin, who was warm and welcoming, and his sweet daughter, Tessa, who was helping out — such a lovely family feel.
As a vegetarian, I was happy to see several great options on the menu. It’s also a perfect spot for takeout; their refrigerator was stocked with fresh, ready-to-go items that all looked delicious.
One of my friends ordered the beet salad, and I had to try a bite — it was truly outstanding. What I loved most was that it was genuinely a beet salad, not just arugula with a few scattered beets. It was generous with beautifully prepared beets, a nice amount of goat cheese, and a lovely dressing that tied everything together perfectly.
I ordered a scrumptious vegetarian sandwich with a roasted tomato tapenade. It was flavorful and satisfying — though I think a touch of pesto would make it even more amazing. The sandwich comes with house-made corn chips sprinkled with a tasty seasoning that added the perfect crunch.
Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area, and they also feature a daily Soup du Jour, which I’m excited to try next time.
