I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was so affordable, brand new bedding, freshly painted, SUPER CUTE rooms, and the bed was comfy! I’ll be back! I also love that I got to park right next to my room and see my truck right outside my window.

A True Hidden Gem—I’d Give It 10 Stars Easily!

I have never found a cozier, more quaint, and serene inn within this price range in the area. Tucked just off the 101, the Redwood Inn is an absolute find. Because of how the property is laid out, the rooms are largely set away from the road, so you don’t get that highway noise you might expect. Instead, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. And if you are lucky enough to get a room in the back row, you will look right out over the beautiful little creek that runs through town, which adds such a lovely, relaxing touch to the stay.
The rooms themselves are clean, cozy, and very comfortable. It is not all brand new and ultra modern, but it has that good old-fashioned country inn feel to it that makes you feel right at home. It’s simple, honest, and well-taken care of. On top of that, the staff are polite and professional, keeping things running smoothly without any fuss.
The location is another huge bonus. It sits directly next to the local Mariposa natural food market, which by the way has amazing coffee. It is absolutely perfect for nipping next door for a morning brew or any food needs you have during your stay.
Looking at some of the bad reviews on here, I have a strong feeling these people either made trouble for themselves or were just disgruntled in general. If you are expecting a hyper-modern luxury resort, you’re missing the point. This is a gem at this price range—truly, a gem. I would give this inn ten stars easily, and I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place. We came into town late and we were super tired. The front desk guy was amazing and got us checked in with no issues. The room was very clean and comfortable. The sheets were some of the softest I have felt. We will absolutely stay here again.
