A recent visit to the Old Main Street Saloon in Sebastopol, CA, proved to be a significantly disappointing experience for a patron. While the establishment itself possesses a certain local charm, the behavior of one particular bartender detracted from the venue’s positive aspects.

Previous visits to the Old Main Street Saloon have generally been positive, with other bartenders consistently described as pleasant and helpful. However, this specific incident centered solely on the conduct of one female bartender. Upon entering, the patron had hoped for a relaxing evening. Still, the experience quickly became uncomfortable due to this individual’s actions. The patron experienced unwelcoming and targeted behavior from this bartender.

When this particular bartender is working, the atmosphere, for some, has been perceived as less inclusive. This kind of experience is undesirable in any public establishment. Feeling unwelcome and disrespected by a service provider is disheartening, serving as a reminder that such issues can occur even in seemingly welcoming environments.

It is difficult to recommend the Old Main Street Saloon when this specific individual is on duty. An establishment that allows for such behavior from even one staff member may not be ideal for all patrons. It is hoped that management will address this serious issue directly with the individual in question and implement measures to ensure all patrons have a consistently welcoming and respectful experience.

Fun place bartender and patrons are friendly. Good times open Christmas and NY Day.

Great bar for cheap drinks and hanging out with friends. Sometimes the Seb regulars are a little strange. Has a couple pools tables, darts, shuffle board (my personal favorite) and a jukebox. Bathrooms are always disgusting. Beware of leaving your car in the town square because it will get towed or ticketed unless it’s Sunday. Dont drink and drive kiddos!
