I work in Eureka and I am SHOCKED I haven’t been here before. The homemade sauces are the best I’ve tried in the state. Excellent food, excellent prices. This is the best lunch I’ve had in weeks. What.a.treat. 11/10

What shows on their website for prices and the actual price is way different. For 3 pice meat plate it says 21 dollars and whrn u get there they charge you 30 dollars instead. The foor was not all that good either. No flavor and very salty. I got what was supposed to. Been burnt ends, slice brisket, and lenguins. Bht the lenguica was a hot link instead. After been told that they didn’t have howling today.

Given the fact that much of the north coast is totally void of bbq, Humboldt smokehouse does enough to hit the craving. Their website menu prices are not accurate so took a picture.

This place has been a staple here in Humboldt for over 16 years and I still come back every time we are in the area. The Cadillac burrito has always been my go to. She makes amazing BBQ sauces and the meat is always on point. Stop in and give a local some support. Her menu is incredibly unique and she’s the only one doing it in the area

The workers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They seemed to like working there. I got take out so I didnt stay to eat, but the food was pretty mid. I got the 2 meat plate with Mac and cheese and the sweet potato mash. Nothing to write home about. The Mac and cheese was decent, but clearly velveeta, the sweet potato was literally just sweet potato, no butter, no seasoning but it was well cooked. The meats I got were the sliced brisket and the burnt ends. The burnt ends were a mixed bag, about half were melt in your mouth tender, the other half was chewy and dry. The brisket was also a mix, some slices were falling apart they were so tender and others were kind of like eating a shoe. Nothing had any stand out flavors, but it certainly wasn’t bad. Ill probably go back to try the sausages and pork belly at some point because Ive seen people say they were good. The restaurant was really clean and the service was fast.
