My wife and I got married here in September of 2025, and it was the most incredible location we could have ever asked for. The owners – Khamoor & Tim – were prompt, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. We were able to rent out all of the cabins on site and host our bridal party for the entire three-day weekend there, which made for such a great time. The accommodations onsite are very well-furnished and comfortable, and the outdoor redwood tree shower was truly a spectacle. I recommend Heartwood Mendocino for literally any group gathering, but especially weddings. Thank you so much for hosting the perfect wedding for us!

Heartwood was the unique, breathtaking yet intimate wedding venue of our dreams, with the right pitch of outdoorsy, comfortable, and refined. When we toured, we immediately knew Khamoor understood our vision and her demeanor made it really easy to work with her. The ability to have nearly everyone staying on site in the luxe cabins, Ellie’s farmhouse and in tents enabled us all to bond and spend so much extra quality time (as well as have extra helping hands around!). Our vendors were all familiar and had great relationships with Khamoor/Heartwood, which made it possible to hit the ground running during wedding weekend. I just simply cannot say enough good things about this place — so many guests raved about the stunning trees and meadows, the kids loved the hammocks and s’mores at the campfire, and my wife and I are already dreaming about having future family reunions there! Total magic. We also had Khamoor provide DIY buckets of flowers for us which were totally GORGEOUS and already on-site for us! Thank you Heartwood!!!

Me and my now husband got married at Heartwood in May 2024 after hearing about it from a family friend who lives in the area. We live in the South Bay Area, and we were having a hard time finding exactly what we wanted for the price we could afford in the surrounding areas. We were looking for a venue that we could stay up late at, we could have friends and family spend the night with us, and we wanted a space that felt magical and beautiful and not too school summer campy. When my friend mentioned we should look in Mendocino for a wedding venue, I was blown away by Heartwood immediately. The whole space is beautifully kept, there are wonderful facilities, the secret meadow provided an intimate ceremony space, and we were able to take over the whole property while having our bridal party camp with us the days leading up to the wedding. I would 100% recommend Khamoor’s space, she is a wonderful person to work with, and she was very relaxed and welcoming. We have already had several guests ask about us returning to the campsite for a family and friends get-together yearly! We will be back for sure!
