This place deserves all these stars. Friendly staff, excellent food, great atmosphere. I liked the food so much when I was done, I wanted to lick the plate. Well done chef.

This restaurant is situated near the coast in a beautiful setting, and the scenery is definitely one of its strongest features.

We arrived for lunch around 1:30 p.m. with a party of three. Although there was a small crowd, most people were already eating or preparing to leave. We chose to sit on the outdoor deck, but after being seated we waited at least 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. It took another 20 minutes for our order to be taken, followed by roughly 30 more minutes before our food arrived. To make matters worse, our meals were initially delivered to the wrong table before the server realized the mistake.

The food itself was actually very good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Near the end of lunch, we ordered another meal to go, only to be told the restaurant would be closing in ten minutes. That struck me as odd, considering we had already spent well over an hour waiting for service through no fault of our own. To their credit, they did prepare the order for us to take.

Overall, I’m not quite sure what to make of this place. The location is beautiful, and I suspect the waterfront setting is a major reason it remains popular. However, being open only for breakfast and lunch seems like an unusual business model, especially given the pace of service we experienced.

While we enjoyed the food, I don’t plan on returning. With the cost of dining out today, along with added fees and tips, I’d rather spend my money at a restaurant that consistently delivers both excellent food and attentive service. There are several places in the area that, in my opinion, do both much better.

We selected this establishment for a brief meal. The location offers an oceanfront setting, complemented by well-maintained gardens and a pleasant vista.

The fried oysters we ordered were notably fresh and generously sized, and they were expertly prepared.

However, I am unable to offer the same commendation for the seafood chowder, which I would more accurately describe as a starch chowder. It contained a minimal quantity of microscopic shrimp within a remarkably bland base.

I advise against ordering this particular item.

The location is great to view the bay. They have great decor that is interesting to look at and it adds to the ambiance. I was very happy my fish and chips came with a salad. All the food was very good, including my husband’s fillet of sole. I would definitely come back and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
