Walked in at 7:05pm and was greeted with a smile. 2 adults and one 5 year old wild child. Our waiter was amazingly kind and attentive. The atmosphere was calm and happy. It was our first time eating there and the food was phenomenal from our burgers to my son’s kid pizza….which was giant and flavorful! We had a really good experience and the cost was perfect for the amount of food received. We will be coming back again.
I’ve been wanting to visit this eatery for a couple of months and we finally made a reservation. This was a friends recommendation. He was sold on the salty sweet pizza and the burgers. The atmosphere is chic with it’s industrial ceilings, elegant wooden wall accents and modern day artwork. The restrooms are wheelchair accessible and the open floor designs helps to accommodate multiple reservations. Our server was on-point and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. However, a miscommunication between the kitchen and server resulted in not getting the ribeye I ordered. Despite this hiccup the following events turned frown upside down. I ordered the Clams and Pasta with the red sauce, as well as the Salty Sweet pizza. Finished both with an ear-to-ear smile of content. My date had the Calico Burger and listen, I wish I had space in my appetite for this well put delectable. First off the three meats patty short rib, brisket, and ground beef is tender and flavor packed paired with the smoked cheese, candy jalapenos and the pork belly and the bbq sauce, this thing is on another level. The bun held up through all this no problem and was just as enjoyable as the fixings inside. The French fries were also a hit. You’re missing out if you haven’t sat down here. I’m making it a point to experience all the choices one seating at a time. Let’s just say this double-date will be back. My date and I spent $110 between both but we went all in. Our friends on the other hand spent $60 or so with their choices one being the ribeye. Depending on time of day outside noise and larger reservations can pose a little on the loud side. We made the right choice to reserve a table.
Wow. Just passing through town and wanted a decent meal. The salad pictures drew us in, I knew we weren’t going somewhere without good salad options. My wife had the Berry Berry salad, wonderful balance between the cheese and the fruits topping it. I had a daily fish special. Cod that was cooked perfectly, extremely moist, yet the glaze and the sesame seed made for great texture. Prices were very fair, eclectic decor, friendly staff, and the biggest pizza oven I’ve personally ever seen.
Truly the best pizza I’ve had in Humboldt! Pepperoni has spice, and isn’t greasy. Nice thin crust, crispy back crust. Had stretched dough, no docking (a plus for me). Ricotta balances the bangin’ pepperoni very nicely. Really well seasoned.
The Sweet & Salty is a great contrast. Same great crust, tomato free pie. Good balance of sweet and savory. Will absolutely order again! Great atmosphere, warm gentle lighting, great staff.
The seafood options in Eureka have no bounds, I think there might be 1 seafood restaurant for every 3 people!
So when Lucky Lucy the one armed Rigger down at the waterfront told me she always goes to the Diver Bar & Grill for her seafood fix ..I was all in! I would have thought for sure she’d have picked the Muff Divers Club, that all girls club down on Lesbonia Avenue as her favorite fish house! Man-O-Man, let me just describe the Salmon Sandwich from the Diver Bar & Grill in 1 word….Spectacular! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
