There isn’t alot going on in Lake County, Ca when it comes to Mexican food. Good Mexican food that is. Well we stopped off at Angel’s Rock house for lonche one day! Definitely good gringo food.

Welcomed by the resident, very friendly rooster, my first time at Angel’s with my amazing colleagues and wow, it was delicious. I had a chicken enchilada platter and a Modelo. The food paired with wonderful service made my first visit assure that it definitely wouldn’t be my last.

I’m leaving a review just to add menu photos. We got 2 chimichangas to go. I’m picky, though enjoy most anything, takes a good meal to actually impress me usually. These chimis were very very very good. Good salsa. Really friendly staff. Menu from April 30 2026. I’ll be back

I haven’t eaten at Angel’s since I was a teenager. So I finally went after years not going. So I ordered nachos for my boss & chicken fajita for myself. I have to say the nachos were not ever tasty it looked like they reheat everything in the microwave. My chicken fajita where cut into big chunks and not flavorful. I was really hoping for some yummy and delicious food. But sadly it was a disappointment. I just hope this was just a off day for the restaurant when I placed my order.
