Friendly and casual new Turkish restaurant in the lovely town of Sebastopol. Good food. We ordered kabob starter dish (which was excellent), moussaka, eskandar kabob, … I also got the Mediterranean salad with beets which was ok. The Greek salad looked great so I gonna try that next time. The best part was the home made baklava that they serve with a bit of ice cream. I am not into sweets but this baklava is to die for. Delish. The co-owner who served us, generously offered is free Turkish tea. Thank you. I’ll be back.
Had dinner at Alesta Modern Mediterranean and it was an amazing experience. The Iskender was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked meat, rich flavor, and great presentation. The restaurant’s ambiance was also beautiful, modern, and very relaxing. Definitely a place I’d recommend for both the food and the atmosphere.
My wife and I enjoyed the meal very much. I suggest you get there early, we arrived at 5:30 to an empty house. A half an hour later it was packed to the gills. We shared the eggplant moussaka, dolmas, and a greek salad.
Amazing Alesta! Time for a really authentic Mediterranean restaurant in the hip town of Sebastopol. We were there for Mothers Day. They gave us a window table. Branzino was great and I had beef skewers. Service was ok but could be better when they can afford another extra staff. This opened only last week. Highly recommended and will come again.
We went opening week and loved it! Family owned restaurant with amazing quality Turkish Mediterranean food. It’s fresh, homemade from scratch, a reasonable price and you can feel the intention and love put behind it! Great new addition to Sebastopol and my new favorite for sure. Service was great and things came out in a sensible order. Can’t wait for you to try it!
