Came here around 6:00 PM on the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend. We were seated in less than five minutes for a party of three, which was a pleasant surprise. The menu is accessed by scanning a QR code. It took a little while before our server came to take our order.
We were seated at Table 6, which has a unique backdrop of wine bottle holders that makes for a nice photo spot.
We ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu Short Ribs, Wagyu Beef Tongue, AUS Wagyu 9+ Brisket (6 oz), Garlic Edamame, and Truffle Fries.
The garlic edamame was enjoyable, but the truffle fries were a bit disappointing. They seemed lightly salted, and we couldn’t really taste any truffle flavor.
This was our first experience cooking premium Wagyu ourselves, and unfortunately we weren’t given much guidance on how long to grill each cut. As a result, we likely overcooked the meat, so I don’t feel it’s fair to judge the quality of the beef itself.
I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars because the premium meats are quite expensive, and for first-time diners, it would be helpful if the staff provided cooking recommendations to ensure guests can enjoy the meat as intended. Without that guidance, it’s difficult to fully appreciate the experience, especially considering the price. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t return.
Came here on a Sunday for dinner right when they opened at 5PM and we were seated right away. The meats are definitely high quality and you can taste how buttery the meat is. Their sides are also yummy and complement the meal well. It took us a few tries to get used to the grill (they told us it’s Japanese style – meaning that it’s very hot in the middle and much cooler on the sides), but once we got used to shuffling the pieces of meat around it was great! The service was also great, but they do get busy so you have to flag someone down if you want to order or ask them to clear some plates. I’d say it’s pricey but worth it for a celebration!
We were just craving for BBQ and found this place that’s still in soft opening. In general I love pretty much everything – the meat quality was great and the staff was friendly (thanks Jeff and Christine!). We will definitely come back.
Had a great experience! The staff were super attentive and friendly, always topping off our tea without us even asking. We tried a bunch of different meats and everything was tasty.
They’ve got beer, sake, and soju too if you’re drinking. There are 4 different sauce options.
Overall, amazing food and great service–would definitely go back!
This restaurant is currently in its soft opening phase, and the interior has a modern, comfortable atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience.
We ordered two A9 Australian Wagyu dishes along with the garlic edamame. Before the meal, several Korean side dishes were served, and all of them were well-prepared and flavorful. One of the highlights was the service — the staff helped grill the meat for us, ensuring both cuts of Wagyu were cooked perfectly without overcooking such premium beef.
The quality of the beef was excellent, with rich marbling and great texture. The meal also came with four different dipping sauces, which added some variety to the experience. The restaurant offers both Japanese and Australian Wagyu, with pricing on the higher side — the 6oz portions we ordered were around $33.89 and $36.89.
The main issue at the moment is the ventilation system. There were only two tables grilling during our visit, yet the dining room was already getting smoky. If the restaurant becomes busier, the air quality and overall comfort could become a concern.
Overall, the meat quality and service were very good. If they continue refining the smaller details during the soft opening period, this could easily become a worthwhile spot for Wagyu BBQ.
