Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They’re are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you’re trying to eat.

We were seeking a quick but tasty Mexican spot and we were not disappointed. We ordered two tacos: one cárnitas and the other beef/asada.
The cárnitas had refried beans, onion and cilantro. The beef had whole( borracho) beans and pickled onion. They were served on two fresh corn tortillas. Both were delicious.
The service was very nice and friendly.
This place also offers plates, which looked delicious, breakfast and burritos.

In a quick trip to wine country….. I always see this little cafe ! Today I ventured in …. They represented Jalisco well! Great Carne Asada! Thank you!!

What a cute place. What makes it special is the quality of the food, the actively engaged owner, his friendly efficient staff, and the charming artwork from his children from when they were little (they’re grown now) and other patrons’ kids under glass at each table. He truly cares about quality of food and service and one of the children drew him in a cape as “burrito man” of which he is understandably proud. Charming place with good food, quick friendly service, and low prices on a nice walking around shopping strip in lovely St Helena.

First off the service here is top notch! Very kind and helpful staff. The fish in the fish taco tasted really fresh. And it was loaded. So much so that I shared some of the toppings with the less than loaded prawn taco. Both were tasty. The chips and salsa on the other hand… if I need to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant I would hope that they are REALLY good. These were pretty standard. They were my only complaint of what was otherwise a good experience.
