The Good:
Seamless Arrival: Check-in was an absolute breeze, making for a smooth and stress-free start to the stay.
Great Sleep: The bed was comfortable, ensuring a reasonable night’s rest.
Hygiene: The room was mostly clean and well-maintained upon arrival.
The Not-So-Good:
Climate Control: There was no air conditioning in the room, which could make warmer nights quite uncomfortable.
Dated Style: The overall hotel decor is looking quite tired and is in serious need of a modern refresh.
Power Issues: Plug sockets were extremely limited, and unfortunately, the ones available lacked the power output needed to charge an iPhone – wouldn’t even register it was charging.
Bathroom Frustrations: The shower was very short, making it cramped and quite difficult to wash comfortably.
Summary: If you just need a hassle-free place to crash with a comfortable bed for a night, it gets the job done. However, the lack of modern amenities, weak power outlets, and awkward bathroom setup mean it might not suit a longer stay or anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

I had a wonderful time here! This hotel is one street into the tenderloin but it is nice! The guy at the front desk was always so helpful and I really like the water bottle station they had up front. Made my walks much much easier.
The only thing I will add is if you face the street the view is really cool, but close your window at night as you are in the city and the city never sleeps.

The room was comfortabel,every day room was cleaned,fresh towels,garbage cleaned,just excellent.
Service was normal,if you ask for an extra towel,you get one.
Location,we liked it to walk,train,metro,tram,all nearby ,a few minutes.

We stayed at this hotel beginning of August and honestly it was not bad. The front desk staff were friendly and the bed was pretty comfortable. Rooms are definitely outdated and could use a Reno. Room was clean, bed, bathroom, etc.
The area I have mixed opinions on as you walk one way and there are designer stores and the other way is definitely run down with majority of the homeless population.
If you need a place for a quick weekend stay in SFO this isn’t bad for the price however id recommend staying near fisherman’s wharf if you want to do more shopping and sightseeing.

Good value, good location. Staff is kind and welcoming, Hansel helped us out and made our stay great. Rooms don’t have A/C and can be loud when having the windows open, but the hotel is not deceptive about the accommodations at all. You get what you see and what you pay for.
