Great restaurant. We ate here while visiting Sacramento. It’s about 2 blocks from Sutter’s Fort in the Midway area of Sacramento and the street parking around the restaurant is free. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away, received chips and salsa as soon as we were seated, our order was taken right away, our food arrived quickly and the one fussy part of our order was perfect. I had the pastor quesadilla and my husband had the super burrito. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. This restaurant has service and quality down to a T.

Fish Tacos and Tequila. My companion had a jalapeño margarita that was spicy and tasty. I had a healthy pour of El Tesoro Blanco. They have a good selection of tequila, and the atmosphere was good times. I’d definitely go back to drink there.

I’ve been going to Tres Hermanas for a few years, and they’ve always been one of my go-to spots. Unfortunately, today was the first time I’ve been really disappointed.
1. I ordered the Pastor Quesadillas, and the photo shows what the meat looked like. It wasn’t cut well, and most of it was extremely fatty. I’d say about 2/3 of the meat was fat or tough connective tissue. I’d had to throw them out…
2. I also ordered the Carnitas Dinner with flour tortillas, but the tortillas were missing from my takeout order. That’s a relatively minor mistake compared to the pastor, but it was still frustrating.
I’m hoping this was just an off day because I’ve always had good experiences here in the past.

Solid spot. Had the burrito—good flavor and filling without being heavy. The green sauce was the best part, actually had some kick. Service was friendly and food came out quick. Prices were fair too, food and drinks weren’t overpriced.
