I’m so happy we stumbled onto this place. We were looking for fresh ingredients, flavorful food, and a casual setting, and this turned out to be exactly what we wanted.

The space is bright and airy, with plenty of seating and playful, creative artwork that gives it a fun atmosphere.

I ordered the salmon and mahi tacos, and both were excellent. The fish portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the tacos were full of flavor without being heavy.

The service was warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

A great casual spot for fresh, delicious food. It was exactly the kind of meal we were hoping to find.

With a 4.8 rating, we had to walk over from our hotel and check this place out while we were in San Diego.

Very casual, order at the counter, funky and vibrant taco shop in the Gaslamp District. A little sketchy around there and lots of police patroling the area the day we visited, but this place was very colorful and welcoming.

Friendly service with lots of recommendations. We each got a couple of tacos and they grilled the onions on both of them for me. I had the Carne Asada and the Birria. The Carne Asada had a tons of neat and was cooked perfectly. Hands down the winner, but the Birria was also tasty.

Both good sized tacos for the price. Quick service. Pick up at the counter and plenty of seating inside with self-serve peppers, sauce, napkins, etc. Clean up after yourself.

The perfect no-frills place for tasty tacos without all the extra overhead.

The walls were painted seasonally, with the assumption that changes regularly. A very fun vibe.

Highly recommend and would return when in the area, although I’d probably only go in daylight.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend for tasty tacos!

I loved this taco spot! The birria tacos were delicious, and I enjoyed having an IPA with it. I absolutely loved the vibe in here with the walls painted in murals. Cool ambience. The service was great as well. Definitely a taco place to check out.

I stopped by on a Wednesday after a fútbol game and found it to be a great late-night option. Ordering is simple. You walk in, place your order at the counter, and find a seat. There were a couple of groups dining in and someone picking up a to-go order, but there was still plenty of seating available.

The employee working the counter was friendly. They also serve alcohol, and during my visit drinks were 20% off. Options included Pacifico, Modelo, Blue Moon, hard seltzers, and a selection of canned craft beers.

    I ordered:

    • Mahi Mahi Taco: the fish tasted fresh, and I liked the crispy onions on top. There was quite a bit of sauce, which made it pretty messy to eat. While the fish was good, it felt like a very heavy taco overall.

    • Surf & Turf Taco: this was loaded with steak and topped with two flavorful shrimp. The shrimp had an amazing flavor, and this taco was much more enjoyable and balanced.

Overall, the service was great, the prices were very reasonable, and the protein quality was excellent. My only critique is that the tacos felt a little overdone with toppings and sauces when the quality of the protein could easily stand on its own. Still, it’s a solid spot for an affordable late-night bite.

One thing to note: there are no restrooms available inside the restaurant.
