Decent place to sit down and have tacos. Not crowded at all on weekend lunch time

The Blind Burrow is tradition whenever we go down to San Diego for Comic-Con. It’s the one restaurant we absolutely must visit every trip. And it never disappoints. First of all, they can accommodate our large group, which is typically around 13 people. Second, everything is great at The Blind Burro. The food is outstanding, the service is always excellent, and it’s just a great vibe there. We’ve sat indoors, we’ve sat outdoors, you really can’t go wrong either way. And, if you’re sitting outdoors during Comic-Con, it’s not unusual to see some famous actors walking by. I actually stopped a couple actors from Aliens that were walking together, and got a photo with them. So that was a bonus! Now, I like to mix things up at restaurants that have a lot of good options, but a non-negotiable at The Blind Burro is their Mexican street corn off the cob. It’s delicious. They also have good drinky drinks, and during Comic-Con, they typically have something with some sort of comic book or superhero theme. I always look forward to eating at The Blind Burro each year, so if you haven’t been there yet, should definitely put it on your must try list. You won’t be disappointed.

A very nice restaurant in a beautiful location. I visited with a group of eight for lunch, and we were seated quickly with only a short wait. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with quiet music playing in the background. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I ordered the birria machete, which I would rate an 8/10. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food in a peaceful setting.

I came here on a Thursday evening, and the place was pretty busy. The service was awesome, and the whole spot had a really fun energy to it.
They’re also dog friendly if you sit out on the patio, which is always a huge plus.
We ordered the nachos, and they were amazing. The portion was huge, fully loaded, and easily enough to share between the six of us. The margaritas were great too!
They also have tons of TVs throughout the place, making it a great spot to catch a game or any event.
Definitely a cool, laid-back place to enjoy good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere.
