We had a very delicious dinner at The Bayview restaurant on July 4th. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and the server was very nice.But the wait was horrendous. We waited almost half an hour to get our first drink. There was over half an hour between each course and they were very few people in the restaurant. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and the piano music was nice. However, they insisted on bringing me a birthday dessert even after I specifically twice said that I did not want it.
I realize that some people may enjoy an extended meal, but it was much too long for us… Over 2 hours plus.

We stayed at the Inn at the Tides earlier this week and had a lovely dinner at the Bay View.
Service was friendly and impeccable, and it was reflected in all the details: the soft music, the right time to bring out each of the plates, and beautiful plating. We enjoyed everything we had, from the crab bisque and the bacon scallops, to the sole.
We also loved the view, both of the bay and of the greenery immediately surrounding the restaurant.
The staff went out of their way to make it a special evening, and we lingered over our meal had an outstanding evening. We would happily return!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The dishes were well executed and the service was over the top, much better than what we normally get in SF. The vibes were welcoming and not pretentious. We’ll definitely be back

We went to celebrate a birthday. The food and service were excellent. It was quiet and easy to hear one another. Our server made great wine suggestions. We will be back.

Nice restaurant, upper level, have a smaller semi private room apart from the main dine in place. We visited Saturday night and there was a pianist playing. Good service. Decent food. Recommended.
