This place is sooo good and the staff is great!
It’s not truly a full service restaurant but its still amazing and worth visiting. You order everything at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Despite being a counter order joint, they are still quite good at checking on you and making sure you are doing good at the table. I went with a group of 3 and we all had carne Asad plate, chilli Verde plate, and the chicken fajitas. Everything was excellent!
I do very much enjoy the salsa bar too where you can customize your flavors.
The margaritas were tasty as well. Make sure to order two or three right away because sometimes the lines get long. My group had the classic lime on the rocks, the blended strawberry, and the pomegranate. Definitely a place to come back to!

Best salsa bar in Sacramento? Green salsa de aguacate is incredible and the salsa roja and tatemada are also tasty. Plus there are zanahorias y papas en escabeche, different pickled onions, chiles toreados and cebollita. So many condiments for your tacos! We came for a small snack: un taco de carne asada y un taco vegetariano. Both were delicious. The veggie was super loaded with beans and rice like a veggie taco de guisado basically. The carne asada was yummy, juicy and had big pieces of meat. Nice staff, extremely clean and kept the salsa bar stocked. I’ll be back for Thursday $5 margaritas and $2 Taco Tuesday for sure.

What an amazing experience! My wife and I stopped in for lunch, and everything exceeded our expectations. I had the shredded chicken burrito, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had. My wife ordered the caldo de res and loved it.
The salsa bar was fantastic with plenty of fresh, tasty options, and the homemade chips were warm, fresh, and addictive. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was incredibly fast.
Everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food!

this place completely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, everything felt right. The atmosphere is vibrant but still comfortable, and the restaurant itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, which immediately sets it apart.
The food? Absolutely incredible. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
The portions are very generous, you definitely get your money’s worth, and then some. Every bite had bold, authentic flavor, and nothing felt rushed or low quality.
The salsa bar deserves its own mention, it had everything you could want, from classic options to more unique flavors. But what really stood out were the fried jalapeños and onions… those alone are worth coming back for. Seriously addictive.
It’s rare to find a place that nails everything, food quality, portion size, cleanliness, and atmosphere, but this place does it effortlessly. Easily a 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
