Good food, great taste. Very simple but lots of options! The workers were really nice and there was a decent amount of seating.

We ordered nachos with curly fries. That was $12+3+tax. Little did we know, they replaced the tortilla chips base with curly fries. I think the person could have done better job explaining what they were gonna cook. That’s where I felt the simple warmth and customer service was poor.
The food itself was ok. Curly fries were great, maybe because we were hungry. I saw they dropping it from a frozen pack, but cooked and served well. And the whole dish was terrible. With artificial or premade looking guac and cheese, the taste was pathetic, like you get in a football game. Didn’t have onions and beans in nachos, wow. We asked for tortilla chips, it was extra $1 which is fine, but that was so cold.
Just a bad experience overall after a wonderful hike and we so much excitement for food. They can improve in so many ways. No wonder the place was empty. 4.4 review is not true at all.
We were not sure from the beginning so I’m glad we ordered only that dish. After this, we went to the Mexican place next door to properly finished our dinner.

Authentic incredible eats. If you’re lucky enough to pass by and grab a bite , don’t miss the quesabirria plate, fried chicken and curly fries, as well as the tacos. Very generous with the guacamole and the best food and service. Thank you and can’t wait to be back during our annual trip to HMB

Nice male cashier.
Most of food was ok.
Got bacon cheeseburgers, fried chicken, fried shrimp and taquito plate and side of French fries.
Everything was made to order. The shrimp were not cooked crispy enough… did not like them.
No air condition inside restaurant so decided to eat outside.
Bathrooms and outdoor metal tables were dirty.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! I live on the east coast now but used to live in cali and wanted to have some CA TACOS WHEN I WAS BACK. This hit the spot. The shrimp and fried fish tacos were excellent!! Added benefit, they also serve fried chicken!!! The chicken was very good as well. Get the curly fries with the chicken. It is very authentic. Nice quick easy place for tacos. Not expensive – just good food. Plenty of parking also and they had kids selections in the menu to satisfy everyone.
