Three Tacos, Ten Dollars, Zero Regrets

Listen, when a plate of food makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate the moment – you know you found something special. That’s exactly what happened here.

I went with the taco trio – shredded chicken, carne asada, and carnitas – all for just $10. Let that sink in. Ten dollars. Each taco came on a shell grilled to absolute perfection, golden and crisp on the outside with just enough give to hold everything together without falling apart in your hands. The kitchen clearly takes pride in the details that matter.

The proteins delivered across the board. The shredded chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The carne asada carried that satisfying char and depth that good asada demands. The carnitas? Rich, slightly caramelized, and the kind that makes you rethink every other carnitas taco you’ve ever had.

The salsa brings real heat, so spice lovers will feel right at home. Those who prefer a milder experience, request the salsa on the side or ask for mild – the kitchen accommodates.

The beans deserve their own moment. Creamy, flavorful, and clearly slow-cooked with care, these elevate the whole plate. The rice holds its own as a solid, satisfying side that rounds everything out nicely.

Now let’s talk ambiance. The dining room sat nearly empty during my visit, carrying that quiet, desolate energy that doesn’t exactly scream “destination dining.” The heat inside was real – the kind where you find yourself fanning the menu and wishing someone would crack open a window. For $10 though? You deal with it and smile through every bite.

This place should be packed every single night. The food punches well above its price point, and once word gets out, that empty dining room won’t stay empty long. Add this spot to your list and bring your appetite.

I absolutely love this place!!! Delicious, super sweet staff, as it is a family owned business. Authentic Mexican food. Dine in their beautiful restaurant, outside or in or even pick up through the drive!!! Makes it super easy!!!

Order a wet burrito. THIS IS HOW a wet burrito is supposed to taste. The salsa was made perfectly!!!! Great ambiance the salsas was good. Excellent!!! Will be coming again.
They also have burrito bowls, pizza birria, hot Cheetos burrito, horchata boba.
    I’m still in awe.
Todo estaba bien sabroso!!! Muy muy rico.

Very good food and lots of different options to choose from. We had the steak quesadilla , steak street tacos and mulitas very good will recommend! The lady taking orders was very friendly and helpful with the menu items. I will definitely return when I’m in town!

The birria tacos were okay, but I was really disappointed with the choriqueso. The menu shows a photo of traditional choriqueso made with real white melting cheese, like Oaxaca or mozzarella. What I was served looked nothing like that—it was chorizo mixed with nacho cheese.

It’s misleading because you order based on the image they advertise, and what arrives at the table is completely different. I didn’t even touch the plate because it didn’t look right. Just be aware if you’re ordering choriqueso—it is not what’s shown on the menu.
