Usually when I come to Mexican places I already know I’m not going to be able to pronounce half the menu but this place was way worse then any other this just speeks to the authenticness of this place. The workers were really kind and supportive to me and my lack of Spanish speach. The inside of this place was authentic to my time spent south of the border. I was encircled by 4 Mexican familys and what was only a + to my experience I highly recommend coming here.

This place has to be one of the best in the Bay Area in my books! These family recipes remind me of when I took a trip to Mexico because the food has so much flavor and you can tell it’s made with so much love. Thank you to the chef that was in the kitchen making the food. Everyone was so kind and kept checking in on us including the chef making sure myself and my family had everything we needed. Thank you taqueria Acatlan. We will be back soon. 10/10 totally recommend!

I love this spot! The food is absolutely delicious and reminds me of the kind of meals I grew up with at home. Everything is seasoned perfectly, full of flavor, and the meat is cooked so tender and juicy that it practically melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to, and I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend if you’re looking for food that tastes homemade and authentic and it’s always great to support a family run restaurant!
