I had high hopes that started downhill almost instantly. The chips were stale and the thin salsa had a hot after-bite. I should have requested some Pico de Gallo to mix with the thin salsa.
The dinner plate looked wonderful when set in front of me. (Check picture). However, the meal disappointed. Generous portions (7 large shrimp), salad, broccoli, cucumber slices, rice and beans. Nothing seemed fresh. The shrimp were old, the broccoli was watery (with brown spots), and the salad so-so. I could not coax a good flavour out of the rice & beans with any amount of sauce. I left a lot of food on my plate and I did not take any home.
Strangely, the juke box played loud country the whole time I there: Achey Breaky Heart, Old Hippy, Be-
Bop All Night Long, etc
I don’t expect to return.
Not the easiest place to spot. It is located across the street from the In-n-Out on Blackstone.

Don’t even think about ordering the shrimp cocktail… they don’t remove the vein of waste from the shrimp… they cook them with the waste vein still in and serve them to you at your table… I got sick… I thought about suing them… but I left the payment receipt there… and they don’t let you eat in peace… there’s a waitress constantly feeding money into a jukebox playing horrible music…
