UPDATE: Since my original review, I have gotten food from here at least another 15 times. It’s always good, never had a bad experience here. I will keep coming here, and keep recommending them to others!
This is for the toyon location. I’m a huge fan of their Carnitas Burritos. Very proper in all regards! Proper quality, lots of meat, proper ratio of beans & rice, home made salsa provided. Really good, satisfying burrito! I highly recommend!

Spotty customer service depending on who you get but the food sure is great!

Service and speed in general is slow so come here anticipating a wait. Calling in orders ahead of time does help for those who are in a rush. The upside to dining in is never having to wait- tables are plentiful and there is ALWAYS seating.

Food portions are good and the pricing won’t break the bank.

I was invited to this restaurant for a lunch
I ordered a taco chicken salad ( a classic ) unfortunately the tortilla shell was to oily,
The guacamole taste like frozen , no like fresh home made it ( it’s what I expected in a Mexican restaurant)
The pico de gallo was a chunk of tomato and onion with a little cilantro with out any flavor.
The size of the salad is good and the price very reasonable.
The service take time and in the end we need to go to the counter to asked for to go boxes and pay the bill.
After the waitress served our food we didn’t see her again and only 4 or 5 table was occupied in the entire restaurant.
Maybe was a bad day I don’t know but is hard now for me to thinking in give to this restaurant an other chance.
The dining looks clean but very outdated
