There was nothing here that would draw us back again. We had a party of 5 here at 7:00 PM on a Saturday evening. The food was good, but, in our opinion, not worth the price paid. When we arrived at a prime dining day and time, we were the only ones there. We were given the option of being seated indoors or outdoors. We chose indoors but probably would have enjoyed the atmosphere much better outside, even with the adjacent parking lot with several cars passing by and backing out trying to find parking for the handful of eateries close by. The indoor atmosphere was not good at all. It’s a “breakfast diner” with counter service and some tables along the wall. Service was acceptable, but not as attentive as we would have liked. The server needed to pause and check with the kitchen staff to describe a couple of items on the menu. In spite of a website that shows available drinks such as margaritas, they are not licensed for alcoholic beverage service.
5 star experience all around. My first time in SF valley in a while. My cousin suggested this Mexican restaurant on Ventura. Never been here before. The place was packed on a Wednesday evening around 6:30. We had to wait 20mins for a table for 3. The place is going through an additional on the other side of the bar with an outdoor patio. I ordered their chicken asada burrito. My son had their shredded beef plate and my cousin had the green corn tamales and a fish taco. Amazing taste and quality. The place is very authentic and the food is good quality and and nice taste. The service was fast although the server was hesitant to recommend anything on the menu. Will be back.
So good!! Service was wonderful and warm, each and every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Outside dining area well appointed and comfortable. We ordered lots of small plates, the quesabirria was excellent! Ceviche and sopes, also.
Very reasonable. Would definitely go back!
Salsa is good. Just wished they had homemade chips to go with it. Outdoor seating is perfect this time of day 12-1:30 PM cuz the sun hits at just the right angle. The beef birria is very good. The pastor taco is totally fabulous!!! I highly recommend either dish. They are working on a liquor license when I came mid November.

Most underrated restaurant in Walnut Creek. Yummy, we had shrimp fajitas and fish tacos. Family always wants to go here.
