It’s one of my favorite spots when I’m visiting this area of Burbank. There are many Mexican food restaurants around Burbank, truly authentic ones (small independently owned). Poquito Mas is more of a “fast casual” chain, partially corporate owned. Their food is consistent across each of its locations. They used to have a self-service salsa bar, however, they have since retracted it and now you must ask for salsa behind them counter. It makes it difficult because I don’t remember all the names of the salsas, and they have no reference menu. So you end up having to describe the salsa to them in order to request some. Other than that, it’s a nice place to grab a really good meal. My go-to is there classic carnitas burrito and a horchara.

The best Mexican food in Burbank! The location is perfect and the staff is always friendly and professional. We’re almost always helped by Luigi – he’s super kind, attentive, and fun. There’s also a lovely lady at the register (unfortunately I don’t know her name) who’s always welcoming and sweet. The food is amazing! We love the quesadilla and the veggie burrito, but honestly, everything is delicious. Highly recommended!

Stopped by here after visiting my girlfriend at the softball field. The food is fresh, the service was fast, the employees were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The parking can be difficult depending on when you visit. We’ve been a couple times already and will definitely be back to try some other menu items!!
