As a family of four visiting from New Jersey with two boys, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Plazuelas Mexican Restaurant absolutely exceeded our expectations.

The food tasted incredibly authentic and was some of the best Mexican food we’ve had. The fish tacos were fresh and packed with flavor, the shrimp taco was outstanding, and the burrito was excellent. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were phenomenal—we couldn’t stop eating them while waiting for our meal.

What really completed the experience was the service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in.

If you’re in the area and looking for authentic Mexican food with amazing flavors and outstanding service, don’t hesitate to stop here. We would absolutely come back on our next trip!

We went there about 530 on a Friday and it was hopping already. The ambience is fine in there, maybe a bit loud. The waiter was very nice. The chips they serve you with the salsa were some of the best I have ever had.I had the enchiladas mineras, which the waiter recommended highly. It was very good but a little bit too pricey for what I got. My wife got spies and they were fine. It was definitely above average Mexican food, but if I go back again, I will order something less pricey.

​I just visited Plazuelas and was blown away by the entire experience. It’s rare to find a spot that hits the trifecta of food, service, and atmosphere so perfectly.
The food was so flavorful! We got the pollo mole and enchiladas mineras. I definitely recommend both dishes. We look forward to trying other dishes next time.
