This is now our go-to for Mexican food or even just a few drinks. The house margaritas are awesome. The service is always great and our repeat server, Vanessa, is our favorite for any restaurant we go to. Our orders are always right and out fast, and our drinks are always full. You can’t ask for more!
I’ll just say this: if you like good food, skip this place.
The reason is simple: it’s expensive, and the food is not cooked properly. The meat is dry, the chicken is dry, the vegetables are burnt, the tortillas are undercooked, and the water tastes bad. Honestly, using a simple water filter would probably make tap water taste better than what they serve.
By the way, don’t waste your time bringing your complaints to the waitress. While they will apologize, they won’t pass the complaint on to the incompetent chef, and they won’t even offer a small discount, a free dessert, or any kind of compensation even though I left half of my meal untouched.
P.S. The rating does not reflect reality and is yet another confirmation that many people either don’t know how to recognize good, properly cooked food or simply have very low standards when it comes to what they’re willing to eat.
Today we visited your restaurant and were waiting a long time for our food. We understand that restaurants can get busy and we asked about the status of our order because the wait time was out of the norm.We did observe the waiter chatting it up with the bartender and wondered what was going on. We did know that a larger party was outside. What concerned us was the response we received when leaving. After we explained we had to leave, the male waiter said—This is not a fast food place’ and laughed. We felt that the comment was dismissive and unprofessional. I am not the one to leave complaints, as I have worked in the good industry myself and understand the demands of the industry but the customer service is a non-negociable. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the interaction left us feeling disrespected.

Went for the first time at the madera location because I love the Clovis location! Well their service is terrible. Walked in and it was super slow, we were not greeted or acknowledged. We were standing there waiting for about 10 min for someone to acknowledge us or even seat us. I had to ask if someone can seat us, I was given attitude and said just a moment. I just didn’t expect this type of service because I’ve been to papis when it’s been super packed and busy but they always acknowledge us and let us know that it will be just a few moments. I don’t even mind that they were short staffed, it’s that it takes literally 2-3 minutes to seat us. There was
So much availability. And no acknowledgment. We ended up leaving.
