The food is delicious, the staff were attentive and nice.

I’m passing through Bakersfield, this to go meal was delicious, if I had to highlight one thing I would highlight the salsa. Not to take away from the flavors in everything else but the sale has a delicious smokey note up front and a pleasant amount of heat (for some heat reference I have an entire door of my fridge devoted to different hot sauces)

The taco beef was mild and had a really robust flavor

All of the fried items (taco shell and chips) had that nice thick crunch.

If you are nearby or passing through I absolutely recommend coming by here.

Also the prices were fantastic! All of this was $21!!

Lets start with the food i got a wet steak and veggie burrito with the classic rice a beans side.. this restaurant in particular gives a sweet cornbread as well.. it was genuinely one of the BEST burritos i have ever had and i have eaten at many Mexican restaurants all over the country.. the complementary chips and salsa are good and fresh.. The staff is very kind and quick with service took only about 15 minutes from the time i walked in until our food was in front of us.. The waitress made sure our chips and salsa as well as our drinks were refilled on the regular and that we were satisfied before we left.. The restrooms were clean and the restaurant was tidy and put together well.. it is a small restaurant but don’t let the size full you they make a MEAN burrito 5 stars review.. I will be back many times..

A real down homey place that feels sooo relaxing and comfortable. The service is excellent and the food is very inexpensive and they give you large portions!! We each had a one item plate and they were enormous. We had the chili rellano plate and the shredded beef enchilada plate. Each came with large portions of rice and beans with cheese. They were both delicious and service was fast and excellent!! You could not ask for more.
