Honestly, the food is good BUT the service is always a hit or miss. The last two times I’ve gone seating is always an issue with one of the waitresses. I’m usually the type too bite my tongue but this last time I just ended up walking away and eating elsewhere because she wouldn’t let us choose our own table, which is disappointing considering the restaurant was not busy at the time we arrived.
A Oaxacan (Mexican) cuisine gem has sprouted in my town! No need to go far for great tasting food. This place is like no other in CA. I come once week to eat and no matter what I have had, its fresh and flavorful.
Want to push the edge of Mexican cuisine,
ask for a side of chapulines (grasshoppers) -crunchalicious.
Vegetarian friendly too.
Well, this was a nice surprise from a local restaurant, the food was genuinely good. (At least the items I order) the Queso Fundido was really good, the cafe de olla was good but a bit too sweet for my taste, I order the chilaquiles and my wife ordered the flat iron stake, both really good.
Service was good, the server was friendly, attentive and courteous.
