Great Mexican restaurant. We sat outside and the San Diego weather was beautiful. We got the fajita and the Birria tacos. The Steak Fajitas were well seasoned and flavorful. Wonderful restaurant overall.

There are Mexican restaurants on virtually every corner of Old Town San Diego and, of those, this is a really good one. Chips are delicious and come with both (really good) salsa and white queso. The food menu has all the popular favorites plus some specials that might surprise you – like the Camaron Jalisco – bacon wrapped shrimp. Delicious. And don’t forget to try the Flan, even if Cold Slab Ice Cream is across the street. Add top notch service and both indoor and outdoor seating and you have a great choice for your meal!

Miguel’s is the perfect place to get good Mexican in old town. I love that queso is includdd with the chips and salsa. It is creamy and delicious. I had the adobado tacos. The meat was well marinated and perfectly cooked. I could happily eat this every day.

Our server Anisha was very nice and attentive. I love how you get chips salsa and queso complimentary! These were the best taquitos I ever had in my life. Crispy on the outside and the beef was juicy on the inside. The tacos were huge and filled with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the swordfish taco and the calamari taco. If you don’t want seafood the carne asada taco was very good also. I had zero complaints and I’d definitely come here again. Great happy hour deals!

My family and I decided to stop here after craving some fajitas and this place did not disappoint. The service was fast and our server was excellent and attentive. The food was delicious and the coconut margarita was a 1000/10 so so good. The fajitas could use better seasoning but for the area, it’s as good as it gets. We’re from Texas and I have yet to try better fajitas than Mi Cocina but these are up there 🙂 would recommend, beautiful seating options if you want to enjoy the scenery. Makes it feel like you’re in one of those 90’s chick flicks lol
