I bought a car from there 5 years ago and I still have it. I always tell everyone I’m grieving my car before I even have to get rid of it because I love it so much. Just got my daughter an awesome car too. The process is so easy and the salesman are so nice.
Leaving McKinleyville at 8:00am and needed to pull a travel trailer to Phoenix, AZ, when I noticed the fan on my truck was running very high, the water gauge was not moving and the check engine light was on. I arrived at Mickey’s at 8:15am. Brent said they had several big jobs going that day but would work me in.
They did the diagnosis and I needed a thermostat. I approved the work and was on my way by 12:30. Very reasonable price and outstanding service. Highly recommend!!!
My husband and I worked with Keith at Mickey’s Quality Cars. We found an Explorer ST we loved and he offered same day relocation from the McKinleyville location to our local Crescent City location. The sale included a trade and our purchase was made simple and fast which we appreciated. In the future we will contact Mickeys for all purchases and upgrades because their relationship with their customers and the professionalism Keith provided. Thank you. We love our new SUV!
Jared and Keith together got the best deal for myself and my daughter. We both purchased our new vehicles and we are very satisfied. We will go back to Mickeys and we will make sure to refer our family and friends. Thank you Jared, Keith and Mickey’s Quality Cars!
I had a good experience buying a car here from Kieth. They gave me a fair price and were straightforward. Unfortunately, after my car died and left me stranded several times, I come to find out Mickeys installed an inappropriate battery in the car prior to selling it to me. After being stranded last night, I went to replace the old battery (part number 140REXTJ) at Oriley’s where they tested the battery and said it was bad. They checked their website for a replacement and it clearly shows that battery would not fit my 2018 Chevy Bolt, and that the car required a different battery (part number 140RPLT) to keep it from discharging too much to be recharged by the car. I went in to Mickeys to resolve the issue and ended up arguing with the service person and manager about who should pay for the replacement cost of the appropriate battery. I was also told I would be charged labor for installing the appropriate battery unless I installed it myself, which I happily did borrowing their tools in their parking lot. In the end, they paid the $44 for the replacement battery (it was so cheap because the old one was so new it was still under warranty), which I am grateful for. I only wish they recognized and owned up to their mistake and offered to replace it for free and install it for free without requiring an argument. The bottom line is that they sold me a car with an inappropriate battery that they installed, which left me stranded several times, and they considered it my responsibility to pay for the mistake. My advice – check the correct battery is in the vehicle before you buy one from Mickeys. It’ll save you a headache later. Otherwise, I consider it a good business and I appreciate their compromise on this issue in the end.
