We were visiting here in San Jose, and this restaurant was recommended to us. The menudo had absolutely no flavor—it tasted like unsalted water, as if they were running low and had just added more water to it. The chicken soup also lacked flavor, and they didn’t have any guacamole.

It was fantastic just like Mexico, during the day you have people and singers who will play songs next to your table, they sell individual items who will sell you flowers, or sell sweet breads or what ever is popular that day. Its part of the Mexican culture. Food was amazing see the pictures on this review. Drinks excellent. The only thing I didn’t like i would have love to sit out in the patio outside or away from the crowd when its busy….I didn’t understand why there were so many nice places to sit outside but they had it closed. And even on the otherwise of the bar there plenty, plenty of seats for anyone and everyone but had it closed off. That was kinda discouraging when there so much space but yet your forced to wait for a seat where its crowded. That was the only thing I did not like when it was a beautiful place to dine and eat and enjoy all the space that wasn’t allowed. That need to changed. I’d say, let you them know how you feel and would like to dine outside or anywhere so that they listen to the people who will give them good business

Plenty of parking, went on a Monday and not too many people, went with a group of 15 and was served quickly.
Musicians came in and out was a perfect fun time. Paid per song and enjoyed every moment.
They took requests from Birthday person and knew most of his requests and/or offered other songs. Was able to get up and dance a couple of songs in the restaurant. That was fun!
I had the fajitas and it was so good, we had shrimp cocktails and very fresh and good.
The enchiladas were a little different but good.
Overall a fun time, good eating and music was good I enjoyed the loud atmosphere because we were celebrating.
The bills was nominal for what we got
