Fast and friendly service, downtown live area, seafood is reasonably priced and of course anything you order here tastes amazing. Haven’t got to come in the weekend, just the weekdays and service is fast and friendly, good seating, clean area, the place is constantly being mopped. My go to for Mariscos. Im shocked not enough people know about this place
I saw this restaurant on TikTok and it had great reviews, so I decided to check it out. The staff was very friendly and I was seated right away.
I ordered a large campechana and an order of empanadas.
I was very disappointed with the campechana. On the positive side, the seafood-to-vegetable ratio was excellent. Unlike many places that serve 75% vegetables and only 25% seafood, this one had a generous amount of seafood.
However, a true campechana should include shrimp, octopus, crab, and oysters. To my surprise, there were no oysters at all. What completely ruined it for me, though, was that they used imitation crab instead of real crab. I forgot to check whether the menu disclosed that it was imitation crab.
Because of that, I probably won’t order the campechana here again.
The empanadas, on the other hand, were very good, especially the salsa verde that came with them. I’ll give this restaurant another chance and try a different dish next time, but I wouldn’t recommend the campechana based on my experience.
Pricy, but so worth it! Almost no wait time and seated immediately without reservations during lunchtime on a Sunday. Plates are priced on the higher end for the portion size but great flavors. No chips n salsa but you get a shrimp cocktail blend i stead. Great for dates or holiday eating but too pricey for everyday meals eating out often.
The only bad thing is finding metered parking downtown. The restaurant was not packed when we arrived. Friendly staff and a variety of seafood and meat options. The cute little mortar bowl as a light snack with crackers, tostada shells. Shrimp empanadas could use more shrimp and less cheese. Their mixed tostada was great with sides of mayo, ketchup to compliment however you like. Definitely a must try when in the downtown area.

Location looks sketchy. The food is amazing though! Highly recommend the shrimp tacos, camarones a la cucaracha, and shrimp empanadas.
