Overall, the food fell short of our expectations for authentic flavor, especially the Chile Relleno platter. The pepper was excessively tough and fibrous, making it inedible. Instead of a traditional light, crispy coat, it was baked and soggy, served with an unconventional sauce and melted yellow cheese. The small side of refried beans was bland, pebble-like, and lumpy, while the Spanish rice was average. The carnitas in the small quesadilla and green-sauce wet burrito were decent but unremarkable. The Super Chile Verde quesadilla was okay, but the condiments—sour cream, pico de gallo, and avocado—were placed on the plate rather than inside the quesadilla, which made it challenging to eat. Overripe, brown-streaked sliced avocado was served in some dishes, and in one case, with its hard stem still attached. The tiny, flimsy plastic utensils made eating difficult. The hot sauces—green, red, creamy, and very spicy—lacked any flavor complexity. With many excellent Mexican restaurants nearby, there are better options.

Excellent tomatillo sauce with the enchiladas. Great salsas for the chips. Homemade tortillas.

The meat was tough/dry/overcooked but the beans and rice were a great flavor and texture. Friendly, patient staff.

Over priced. How are you pricing pricing anything that’s high when you serve undercooked rice?? I probably won’t eat here again.
