Poor first experience. I came in with my wife and 2 daughters and was quickly greeted which was nice. After saying we were dining in, we were told to pick a table and we would be brought menus. My wife asked for water at the same time (we walked to the restaurant) and the hostess snapped back, “you’ll get water too”.
Unfortunately, most tables were dirty. We picked on of the least dirty tables. When the hostess came with menus, chips, and waters, she started to spread them out. I asked if the table could be cleaned first and we got a dirty look. Thereafter we waited a solid 10 minutes, maybe more, but no one ever returned to check on us, take our, anything. It wasn’t busy. When we arrived several employees were standing around, there were only 3 occupied tables. We thought about going inside to ask for help but after the initial poor attitude of the hostess combined with our surprise at the nearly 4% credit card surcharge we discovered printed inside the menus, we decided to simply leave.

The food is excellent and the menu selections are broad. No issues with food. The wait staff service was a bit slow. Friendly but slow.

Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I hope the service will get faster as they have a chance to get experienced with the flow. It’s only been open a week.

I will definitely go back. It’s a bit pricier than other local options but the food quality and taste makes it worth it.

It’s a nice vibe with lots of patio seating. Very limited seating inside. Clean lines with modern decor, I like it. Not sure what they will do on rainy days.

Nice to have a “go to” Mex alternative in Benicia.
