Had a ceviche, chicharron de pollo, veggie empanadas and lomo saltado. The chicken was unpleasantly dry and we didn’t finish it. Empanadas were decent and the ceviche was nice (though the taro chips were super hard). Loma saltado was quite salty and the beef was tough, but flavor was good. Mango panna cotta for dessert was very sweet and was kind of grainy. Overall fine but disappointed in the textures.

    Service was smooth and comfortable.

Really wonderful restaurant off of the Castro Street. It’s next to the parking garage. The menu is rich and offers great choices of food. The oysters are so fresh. The plater of seafood has many varieties offer in one. The pescado Entero is a huge surprise to us. It tastes so good. Highly recommend.

The food is excellent, which is why we return over and over again. The vibe is chill but the energy is high in this place. The staff all seem to be enjoying themselves and the people in the dining rim all seem to be having a good time too. We ordered a few things at the bar to share, and were in and out pretty quickly for a busy Saturday night. We enjoyed everything…and we’ll be back. NOTE: If you plan to order a Mocktail, be sure to specify as the drink names are very similar to the regular cocktails.

Stopped by Limon around 5 PM with a party of 4 for an early dinner. Parking took a while to find, so expect that! The ambience was good and we shared a bunch of dishes.

We started with empanadas, which were just okay, nothing special. The ceviche was the highlight though, absolutely delicious and fresh. The passion pisco cocktail was awesome, definitely recommend ordering that. The lomo saltado was delicious and flavorful, though the portion could’ve used more beef. The chicken was unfortunately dry and disappointing.

Overall a decent experience with some hits and misses. Go for the ceviche and passion pisco, skip the chicken, and hope they’re more generous with the beef in the lomo saltado.

This is a Peruvian restaurant in downtown Mountain View that we visited for lunch on a Sunday around 11:30 AM. We didn’t make a reservation, but it wasn’t needed — the place was fairly empty when we arrived.

Parking was easy. While there’s no immediate parking next door, downtown Mountain View has several free public lots (usually up to two hours), and we found a spot without any trouble and walked over.

We started with fried plantains. I’m not personally a big fan, but my friend really enjoyed them. They were exactly what you’d expect — sweet, soft, and lightly fried.

For the main course, my friend ordered fried chicken with potatoes, topped with parmesan and served with a mustard aioli. I tried a piece, and it was quite good — crispy, bite-sized, and flavorful. I ordered the grilled octopus with roasted potatoes. The dish was nicely presented, with a spicy sauce and a few grilled cherry tomatoes. The potatoes were excellent, but the octopus itself was slightly rubbery, which took away a bit from the dish.

Overall, the food was decent but not particularly memorable. The service could have been better — the staff weren’t very attentive, and we had to ask multiple times for things.

All in all, it was a good experience, but nothing that really stood out or would make me go out of my way to return.
