Best authentic Mexican food that I’ve had in awhile. We were up at Black Cahasm Cavern, and this place popped up on a nearby restaurant search.
The chips and salsa were exceptionally tasty, 2 of us went through 2 baskets. The lunch special burrito was so good! Chicken was juicy, beans and rice hot and fresh. Highly recommend this little place if you’re in the area and in the mood for great Mexican fare.

We love this place! Delicious, authentic, calm, relaxing atmosphere with table service and friendly faces. Love not having to go down the mountain to get a great meal.

Even though the restaurant is small we always get take out. The food is delicious the service is quick. The prices are a great value for all the food.

My favorite restaurant on Earth. I am never unhappy when I’m here. Everything that happened bad that day goes away when I sit and eat this food. I have never said that about a restaurant in my life!! A the most amazing food. The women are always smiling at work here. Positive environment 8 years. I mean come in here and it’s never been bad. I’ve never been let down. I forget everything bad that happened that day and just enjoying my meal. If they moved I would probably sell my house and follow them!! These ladies are always smiling. Always happy to see us if they had a bad day. They hide it well. I’ve eaten it every Mexican restaurant in calaveras county, San Joaquin, etc. They are top-notch. I hope they never change and keep on rolling. Thank you for being there for us

Las Minas Mexican Restaurant is a wonderful, family friendly place to eat. My family and I have eaten her many times for many years. Rachel, Magdalena, and Judith are always pleasant and the food is great too. Today I had customized nachos. They had beans, cheese, grilled chicken, chipotle sauce, green salsa, and cilantro. They were absolutely delicious.
