Mud lake!!! It may have been a 4 years ago but now with the wildfires and draught in California and over emptying of the reservoir to supply elsewhere with water have left lake Mendocino a very dry place compared to what it used to be!!
Watch out for the homeless people who have been permanently setting up camps in the camp grounds!!!

Lake Mendocino is a really great place for the whole family if you’re a fisherman they’re catching 7 to 10 lb catfish along the bank was just balls of bread luck of the Irish.max.

Well lake Mendocino is not up to what it use to be unfortunately since the redwood valley fire their letting the fire victims live on the north end camp grounds which means it’s not open to the public which sucks for everyone else and the South camp grounds hasn’t been open to the public for the last 3 years. Yeah it’s bad here folks.
