Best Mexican food in Chico. Hands down. They know I like extra sour cream and put it on there every time, even if I door dash. They know their customers! Their an amazing small business with the bestttttt food!

Hands down the best Mexican food in Chico! I forgot to take a photo of my Torta de milanesa, but I can confidently say without a doubt this place is the only Mexican restaurant in Northern California that actually knows how to correctly prepare a torta 🙂

Their burrito bowl are great, but their burritos #2 and #3 are absolute game! I like their giant quesadillas too, massive size and great taste. Their food is great, the staff at the counter is really sweet, and quite helpful.
I keep coming back, cause their food is really good. Even if I’m not hungry, I would just stop by for Mexican rice.

Overall, I would come back here. The food was very good and seemed very authentic. I got the number three breakfast burrito and it was massive. I was not expecting this much food, especially for the price that it was which I felt was very reasonable. I love that they have salsa in the corner that you can take to go And peppers service was pretty quick and it seemed pretty clean on the inside. I used the bathroom and that was pretty clean too. Would recommend coming here again, especially for breakfast.

Great little taco shop in downtown Chico. My wife had the fajitas and she says they were the best she’s ever had. Really great service as well. I am not sure that I’ve seen a DIY chips and salsa bar bit La Perla has one here. Outstanding!
