Went to try Espe chips which they’re known for with their food truck around the valley. Was torn between chips or fries, but when we tried the chips and salsa, I chose to get Espe chips. Espe chips comes with tortilla chips, Chile Verde and cheese. I added beans to mine, so it looks a little different. But I bit into a chip and it tasted like old oil or similar to chips that have been sitting a while and soaked in oil. I put a chip we got with the salsa to compare the difference. It was not good at all. The chips ruined what could have been a decent meal. Sad to say it was gross

It’s a drive to get there but we’ll worth the flavors. I was recommended to try this this restaurant by a long time former employee of the restaurant and I am glad I listened. First off the service was great by everyone inside the establishment. The waitress , I didn’t catch her name but she is in one of the pictures, was so very helpful since it was our first time there. Now the food. The flavors of I believe is called the espe chips was so very delicious. We ordered as an appetizer for 3 people and it was perfect amount. My three tacos rice and beans so yummy . My brother inhaled his plate of quesidilla. My mother really enjoyed her Chile relleno. Everything so delicious. Will be definitely going back and bringing the whole family. Thank you .

My first time at La Esperanza and I loved it. I’m by no means a connoisseur of Mexican food but I really enjoyed the food here. The portions were generous and the prices are fair. The service was also very fast and polite!
Their famous Espe chips are well-worth the visit!

This place has the best Mexican food in the central valley. Customer service is amazing as well. The food comes out fast and piping hot. You get a lot of food for your money.

La Esperanza did not disappoint again! Had family come down from Northern California and up from southern California and we took them to LA Esperanza. Sat in the bar and everyone was amazing again! The food was excellent, my family members were so impressed and actually said it was the best authentic food they had ever had. Thank you for your continued excellent service. Your amazing employees and wonderful atmosphere.. we will continue to bring family and friends here .
