Beautiful location. Went here for a Wedding anniversary lunch and was a nice touch to include a sign and complimentary champagne. Good selection of appetizers, small plates, and entrees. Delicious, flavorful dishes. Good portions. Nice servers. Good views of Half Moon Bay on the second floor. Lots of Outdoor seating as well. Free parking. Perfect for dates, a group of friends and families. They have live music weekly.

A beautifully designed restaurant with striking ocean views! The hostess was so kind getting us a great table for our visit and our server Yvonne was knowledgeable about the menu. I’m gluten free. They have a gluten free menu although read it carefully to omit things like soy sauce. Our food was delicious and plated beautifully. Very good quality ingredients! My husband tried a bunch of “small plates” which were actually quite large servings. He enjoyed them all including ribs, macaroni and cheese, and an empanada. I had some grilled shrimp the kitchen made special along with the sweet coconut rice. We also enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake. It has almost a fudge consistency. Very unique. We will definitely dine here again on our next trip to Half Moon Bay.

A fantastic seaside view, a cozy interior and unbelievably tasty food. I have never had Peruvian food before and this experience felt akin to enlightenment. Now, I can only dream of savoring this moment again. This is my canon event.

We came here for mother’s day brunch – without reservations! I don’t know if we just got lucky (4 of us), but we walked up around 11am and after maybe 5 minutes wait they led us to the beautiful upstairs dining area. We had oysters and champagne, and an incredibly delicious assortment of small plates including: Pulpo a la Parrilla, Langostinos Crocantes, Scallops Carlitos, Arroz con Mariscos, Roasted Beat Salad. They had a kid’s menu – our son loved the mac ‘n cheese. The food came pretty fast and the service was excellent throughout. The restaurant is also very beautifully decorated.

We visited La Costanera for the first time, and everything was absolutely wonderful!
The food was incredibly delicious, and the portions were generous — we left full and very satisfied. The prices are also quite reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area, which was a pleasant surprise.
The service was outstanding. We would especially like to highlight our server, Guimba S — he was very attentive, friendly, and professional. While we were waiting for our food, the restaurant kindly brought us complimentary appetizers, which was a really nice touch. They also made sure we were comfortable by turning on the heaters and fire features so we wouldn’t feel cold — everything was taken care of thoughtfully and on time.
On top of that, we even received a complimentary dessert, which made the experience even more special.
If it were possible to give 10 stars, we definitely would! Highly recommend this place — we will absolutely be back.
