Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday day trip to Sacramento. The restaurant has a great downtown location and a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

    Drinks & Food:
The margarita was a highlight – visually appealing and very refreshing.
The Cosecha salad tasted fresh and good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.
The shrimp fajita arrived sizzling and was filling, accompanied by hot tortillas and standard rice and beans, but the fajita itself was quite dry compared to other fajitas I’ve had in several places in the past.

    Pricing & Fees:
My main issue was at the end of the meal, when the bill included an unexpected 3.5% “Kitchen Appreciation Fee.” It felt unnecessary and opaque; rather than adding mandatory surcharges, restaurants should ideally share standard tips with the back-of-house staff. To top it off, the handheld payment machine suggested a starting tip prompt of 18%, making the extra fee feel even more sneaky.

Love this beautiful restaurant located in the park downtown! It’s decorated super nicely, has lots of seating, and the food/drinks are great. My friends and I have tried several cocktails and the aguas frescas, and they have been delicious! The agua de Jamaica is my fav. The food tastes great, is filling, and the service is also great. I love coming here with my friends to catch up over dinner or get a bite before hitting the bars on K street. I definitely recommend!

A beautiful space located in the middle of the park. Lovely outdoor seating area, although they could use some fans to help with the CA heat. Service was great, and our waiter was kind enough to let us practice our Spanish with him! Food was quite good but didn’t blow us away, our favorite was the carne asada plate.

A very cozy place with friendly staff. The atmosphere really comes alive at night with a vibrant bar scene. Unfortunately, we missed happy hour. The taco salad is delicious, and the quesadillas and burritos are generous enough to be shared between two people. The washrooms are clean as well.
