We only waited 5 mins to be seated after we were told 15mins. The waitress was so kind and explained what was their signature dishes and drinks. I had the quesobirria tacos…which were fire… and my friend had enchiladas de mole. He enjoyed it. Our drinks of choice were guavarita and el chupacabras. Absolutely delicious. We will be back to try something else. Happy hour for sure.

We visited Kalaveras right by the Pike Outlets in Long Beach and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented.
We ordered the ceviche, asada salad and a mixed platter of street tacos with asada, pollo, carnitas, and barbacoa. Every meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The taco platter was served on a wooden plank and was more than enough to share.
The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch and paired perfectly with the meal. I also ordered the Mai Tai, which was perfectly mixed and well balanced. They have a great drink selection, including IPA beers and non-alcoholic options like piña drinks.
The flan dessert is a must try as well!
Overall, the food was flavorful, the portions were large, and the service and presentation made for a great dining experience.

The server was really nice and taco Tuesday was very cool and the mocktail was super good plus they had happy hour and was fulfilling g plus the decor was super pretty to take selfie definitely going again

Good Mexican food at a good price. The empanadas and Kala sampler were tasty. Buffalo wings could have been a little crispier. The ceviche, carne asada tacos and carnitas were delicious. The beans weren’t great. Overall, very pleased with the food, service and prices. Considering this restaurant is located in a high tourist area in Pike, I thought the prices would have been inflated. Priced lower than I would have expected. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Service was great and considerate. The food came out quickly and our waitress was fantastic! If you are visiting LB I recommend coming here on Tuesday for $1.99 taco tuesday special.
