Hacienda on the Lake is a beautiful venue with amazing lake views, a spacious layout, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s easy to see why they host so many events here.
The staff were very friendly, kind, and welcoming throughout our visit. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and when I called the next morning, they had already set it aside for me. The manager also treated us to a Chocolate Martini, and the staff surprised our friend with a complimentary ice cream dessert for her birthday. Those thoughtful gestures really stood out and made us feel appreciated as guest
The drinks were great too. I ordered the Peach Tea and really enjoyed it, and everyone in our group was happy with their drinks.
Unfortunately, the food experience didn’t live up to the venue itself. We visited on Taco Tuesday and ordered a variety of tacos, including crispy beef tacos and soft street tacos with chicken, steak, and fish. They arrived cold, and there were mistakes with our order, with some items being missed and brought out later.
What stood out to me most is how much potential this place has. The location, lake views, atmosphere, spacious event-friendly setting, and customer service are already strong foundations. With more consistency in the food, better serving temperatures, and a smoother ordering process, the overall experience could be significantly better. I’d love to come back in the future and see this place reach the level that its setting and hospitality already suggest!

Had a nice taco Tuesday dinner at Hacienda on the lake. We were greeted by the lovely Maria who led us to a nice waterfront table upstairs. It was pretty cold on the lower patio and looked like rain so this area was very nice. We were also greeted and visited with Hilda and Pedro both wonderful people. Paola was our amazing server. She is sweet, kind and professional. We started with chips, salsa and guacamole followed by frozen margaritas. Yummy. Paolo came back after we finished the guacamole and took our entree orders. We both had the caleta enchilada platter with my wife choosing one red and one green and I had both red. The ambiance was quite nice and the view amazing.
Great service, good food and a killer view! Highly recommended

Had a wonderful evening dining experience at Hacienda on the lake this evening. Maria and Alex greeted us upon entry and took us to a lovely table at the waters edge. Hilda and Jose Pena came by to visit and say hello and we also saw Mauricio when Diego our server came by and took our drink order. Chips, salsa and water arrived and I also ordered a dinner salad to start. The ambiance was terrific and it was such a beautiful evening. Diego brought our margaritas and then took out dinner order. I had the Brisas and my wife had the Caleta. The chicken enchiladas, relleno, rice and beans were perfect.
Great food, service and ambiance. The other staff members who helped with chips, water, and picking up plates etc. were fantastic. Highly recommended

What a wonderful evening at Hacienda of the Lake this evening. We were seated at a lovely table at the waters edge. We started with chips and salsa and of course Margaritas. My wife had a frozen skinny and I had a Cadillac. Diego was our fantastic server and was friendly, professional and efficient. I had a dinner salad to start and then we ordered entrees. My wife had the Caleta enchilada entree with chicken and I had the Las Brisas with a chicken enchilada and chile relleno. The view and ambiance is incredible and the service fantastic. Good food, good people and fantastic location.

We had a wonderful time at Hacienda on the Lake. My father and his friend came out from Hemet and we met at the restaurant. Maria is so wonderful and welcomed us as well as took us to a beautiful table by the lake. Oscar was our amazing server assisted by Martine. Both were professional, kind and efficient. The ladies had enchilada entrees and my father and I had the tampiquena and the food was hot and tasty. The chips and salsa was great and the drinks terrific as well. What a great ambiance. We topped things off with the fried ice cream and it’s fantastic as well.
Highly recommended.

Another great dining experience at Hacienda on the lake. Tonight when we arrived Maria greeted us and took us to a wonderful table in the dining room. I noticed right away that they had new tables, painted walls and spruce up the interior with the addition of fire pits as well. Mauricio was our amazing server and we also were greeted by Hilda another amazing server. Ricardo helped us with chips, salsa and water as well. We started with margaritas and also dinner salads. Miguel the general manager came by and we chatted as well. The people here are like family. We talked for a while and I also commented how good the chips and salsa were. Miguel informed me that they also had a new chip supplier. A terrific move as these chips are fresh and tasty. Miguel that brought us each a shot of Don Julio Reposado to cheer the New Year. What a wonderful and thoughtful person. We then ordered our entrees. My wife had the Caleta and I had the tampequenia. Great food, great ambiance and amazing staff.
Highly recommended.

We arrived when it opened on a Monday. Service was slow.
We got two rounds of complimentary chips and salsa before our food came.
The guacamole appetizer is very small for the price. It tastes good though.
The fish tacos were nothing special. The chicken was good. The las Brisas (enchilada with choice of meat served with a chile relleno) was ok. The enchilada was tough to cut through, and both it and the chile relleno were bland.
This place is expensive for all the food not to be excellent! I guess you are just paying for the view, which is a nice one

Was visiting my hairstylist at a new location and discovered this place. Love Mexican food, so looked forward to a new restaurant.
Was warmly greeted. Per their invitation, walked around the place; it’s beautiful and huge. Outstanding views of the lake!
Sat at bar for the beginning of their Happy Hour. Was immediately waited on.
I accepted the offer for chips and salsa.
The chips were so stale that they were unpleasant, the salsa seemed store bought and not delicious. Disappointing.
I wanted to order a second glass of wine and the place was an employee ghost town. Disappointing. Eventually a random server collecting clean glasses just poured me a glass. Since the chips and salsa were so underwhelming I wasn’t motivated to order food.
When I was finished with my drink, I again waited for anyone to check on me but no one did. Disappointing.
I eventually asked the hostess to rescue me and then someone showed up to check me out. Being the honest lass that I am, I informed him I’d had two glasses because he didn’t have a clue. Honestly, I could have walked out and who knows when or if anyone would have noticed? Disappointing.
