If you love tacos (and if you don’t, seek help!) then you must get here and eat your fill. These were easily some of the best tacos I’ve had in my life.

The place was packed by noon on a Wednesday and with good reason. It wasn’t so bad that you couldn’t find a seat, but the line extended out the door and people kept cycling through. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient – so don’t let the busyness deter you and cause you to miss out.

I got two campenchano tacos (blend of pork and chorizo) and one shrimp taco. So dang good! My friend got four tacos: chicken, asada, shrimp, and carnitas. All of them were incredible. I don’t think you could regret any choice.

Complimentary chips are self serve and the salsa bar has wonderful fresh pico and a variety of salsas, each just as good as the last.

Washed it all down with a signature, house brand cerveza while sitting in the shade on the patio and all was well with the world.

If you’re in Davis or UC Davis you should find some time to check this place out! My brother is a UC Davis graduate and anytime I go up there to visit, we make sure to stop by Guad’s. Not only are the tacos incredible (I recommend the vampiro) but so are their micheladas! & they’ve got great chips and salsa for free. Everyone working there is friendly as well.

Only thing is they do get busy so I’d recommend going earlier or at a non peak time, otherwise you may just have a bit of a wait.

Good food, good prices, consistent. Close to campus. If you are wondering if you should eat here, I’ll tell you: you should. ‘Nuff said.

Fresh and delicious food. Fast service even when restaurant was full. Outdoor seating available so could sit with my dog. Good beer selection.

Came here on a Friday evening, very busy. Not a lot of seating and outside doesn’t have lights (or they dont use them) wifi also does not work half the time. I decided to try a few menu items including vegetarian tamales, ceviche tostada, and fish taco. Tamale no go, the sauce they put on top is just like canned tomato sauce, kinda nasty and the tamale itself not very fresh imo. Ceviche tostada delicious! Fish taco, no bueno. Id pass of that one and go for something else. My brother got the dirty rice, looked pretty good. Oh and michelada, good! Salsas are okay, not very flavorful (especially the green one).
