Guadalajara Grill #1 has been one of my favorite taquerias in the Belmont/San Mateo area for years. It has that comfortable neighborhood Mexican restaurant feel, and the food has always been consistent.
My go-to breakfast is the Mexican omelette with chorizo, with avocado added. The chorizo, peppers, onions, tomato, and cheese make it flavorful and filling, and the avocado gives the plate a fresh, creamy balance that makes it even better.
The hash browns are another highlight. They come out grilled just right, with crispy browned edges while still staying soft inside. I usually get sourdough toast on the side, and it completes the breakfast perfectly.
Highly recommend Guadalajara Grill #1, especially for breakfast. The Mexican omelette with chorizo and avocado is my go-to.

Last stop for Mexican relish! What a find! Local amazing and being from Texas it was all 5 stars. We came in late an hour before closing and still the fresh was amazing. Both ordered Poblano Burrito. So much and too much food. Should have just ordered one.

Really loved the food. Fresh, and hot! The green guac salsa is the best. At first,, just looks like a fast food take out but they have a seating area.
My chile relleno had Lot’s of cheese that was the best!!
