Went to enjoy the weekend buffet. It’s small but it does have variety.

I have dined at this restaurant before and found the food to be mediocre, but my most recent experience was even more disappointing. I ordered the grilled chicken, and it was dry, overcooked, and slightly burnt, with virtually no seasoning or flavor. The beans also tasted as though they had been sitting for a long time and did not seem freshly prepared.
Considering the prices, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced, below average, and not worth the cost. Based on my experience, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant. Dine at your own risk.

My husband and I came here for the $1 oyster special they were doing, expecting just mediocre food to go along with our oysters. We were shocked to say the least.
First of all, the table salsa and chips they give you as you get seated tastes AMAZING. Usually we are used to the table chips and salsa being stale and just okay but the chips and salsa here are probably the best we have ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of spice. We even asked for a second serving of chips and salsa, which we never do. They were that good.
Then we got some shrimp ceviche, tacos, and of course our oysters. Everything was so fresh, sooo good. We were shocked at how perfect the seasoning and all of the accoutrements were that went with our dishes. The ceviche was made exactly how we liked it. My husband’s tacos came with everything he likes on them, even with a side of escabeche.
We were blown away by the delicious food here and can’t wait to return. The restaurant was busy so we had to wait a while for a table and the servers forgot to bring out one of our orders, our waters, and our utensils/napkins but we were able to chase those things down easily.
Parking is very easy, but there are a lot of smokers outside.

Amazing food. Came here for then dollar oysters and they were fresh! Lengua was perfect! Salsa was balanced and chips crispy. Tres leches was a great way to end the meal. And the service was great as well. Will definitely be back when we need an oyster fix.
