I walked in after a long drive, and the welcome alone made me feel like I’d arrived somewhere that actually cares about its food. The place has that no-nonsense warmth that makes you want to order everything on the board, and the service kept that good energy going without hovering.
Everything came out fast, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for—nothing fancy, just honest cooking done right. I left with a full stomach and a better mood than I’d arrived with, which is pretty much the best review any restaurant can get.

I ordered a two crispy taco plate with shredded chicken rice and beans. It was absolutely delicious. Glad my wife decided to order this before we got back on the road. Highly recommend this spot. If you’re on the road to Reno or Sacramento, stop in delicious food and salsa bar.

Please eat here! We are so excited there’s a taqueria in this area now. We were really hoping it was good and we are super excited it is a great addition to this area!! Our tacos were super tasty. They have self serve fountain drinks, a self serve chips and salsa bar and the prices are very fair for the area. It was also very clean inside and they did a great job with decor. Please support this place so we can keep it around!

Overall, it was great experience, especially considering the other food options within a reasonable travel radius… I got street tacos ($2.99each)… 2 carnitas, 2 birria. They went HEAVY on the meat. It was fresh, juicy, tender, and very flavorful!!! I only have two, very small suggestions. One, please update your POS to allow tips on card transactions. I felt bad not having the option to leave a gratuity since I paid with a card, and I don’t typically carry cash (like many truck drivers)… Two, the cilantro had some hard stem pieces so that was unpleasant, but overall, I’d definitely come back! Also… The young man who helped me was sweeping the floors when I arrived and the entire place was exceptionally clean. I would’ve also purchased a couple Jarritos but I didn’t want to pay $3.75 each for them… Definitely better than the Burger King it replaced.
